Does Hardwork pay Dividends ???
It's been quite a sometime I have scribbled something .... Reason being : The daily schedule and routine has become hectic these days. I am into my third semester of my post graduation ( final year ) . I thought that the workload will be lessened since I had taken up electives which won't push too much burden on me . But alas ! The present scenario has been a complete turnaround to what I thought of . In one word , I am "Fully loaded" . Today , it was the fourth continuous day , I had to see the beautiful moon going down and the refreshing sun light coming out from the back of the mountains . This situation is generally rare for me coz , I see the sun mostly in the afternoons or when the gong stuck 10 times .....
I am happy today, because , officially the summer semester has come to an end : Thanks to the marketing professor who obliged to come down to see and evaluate our final marketing project .
But in the last 3 - 4 months , there is a subtle change in me . It's the effort and hard work I am putting these days . During my college days and undergrads , I was a happy go lucky guy . Hardly I used to study and put efforts for anything . Be it in the form of exams , assignments , projects or other activities , I was always rewarded with the very best and didn't hassle much . But these days , however effort , dedication and hard work I put in, it never pays !
Of late I am been bugged by one basic question - Does hard work pay dividends ? If you ask me , I would say " No " . But most analysts and philosophers would disagree with it , simply because it sends a negative vibe and hence not easily digestible .
But I will definitely like to argue with them coz I have umpteenth incidents with me , where people put their 100 % ( they cannot put more than 100% ... simply because it is unaffordable !) and still they don't get their fruit , which they deserve .
I think its the "luck factor " and the " time " which also contributes to the result of the battle one is in ! No matter how much one puts his whole hearted effort , its the luck line and the planets position in his fate ruling the battle . They have a major stake on the outcome .
So to have a desirable output and sweet fruit , make sure that the luck and the time is on your side ! Without them the fruit won't be sweet .
Everyone has their own approach to deal with this kind of problem . What's yours ?
